Love the green and gold of the lagoon, Murat. I think I'll go swimming, too!

T: Pretty cool image: a lagoon nebula. I figured Mina wouldn't going swimming in just any lagoon.

I think you're really on to something with this Olson stuff.

Off to Taos!

Richard:

Thank you for your good words.

Have a wonderful trip! Say hello to the Lawrences (DH and Frieda) and Mabel Dodge Luhan, while you're in Taos. They just might make it into this wandering saga themselves.

I think you're onto something with this Olson series, too. How else could you get at the mystery of this guy's life except through poetry, images, and fictionalized vignettes featuring a superhero named Van? Looks like you are enjoying yourself. Does this mean you've set the bishop aside for a while?

Anno: I actually like this multimedia Olson: it reminds me of Ondaatje's Coming Through Slaughter. And I like that it can be messy, with seams showing.

As for the bishop, amiga: he done. Finished it last Friday. It's in the bread box, cooling: I'll take a look at it this weekend, see what's what, and if I'm not too embarrassed, I will send it on for your critique.
