I don't know but today I'm sticking with the familiar. I mean I'm listening to Tori. But I've been listening to a bunch of new things, maybe it's time my blog introduced them to the world.

DM: Ms Tori could burn down half a dozen missions. At the very least, you need to introduce your landlocked stateside student to wassup. I'm ready.

For me the familiar is Sir Elton. Just couldn't get into Tori.

Teresa: I grant you that Ms Tori is most assuredly an acquired taste. I was in horror of her for years, until Ms Devil Mood walked me across the Amos threshold.

It was probably "Talula" that won me over (Track 66 on Paschal's Playlist). This lyric pulled me in:

Ran into the Henchman
who severed Anne Boleyn

Acquired taste indeed.

Indeed. I don't like to think about the severing of anyone, much less Anne Boleyn.

Teresa: I grant you the grisly imagery of the lyric, but I love her phrasing in singing it. English teacher liability.

Never listened to Tori before but I will be investigating now. Not for everyday I think but certain moods...

Tumbleweed Connection, now that was one I wore slap through the vinyl. Come Down In Time and Where To Now St. Peter - think I have the cd in my car right now...

Dee: Gotta wonder about our Tori moods, but I agree. I'm smitten. Used to think I'd never be.

I still TC is his best.
