poem by attrition

Poem for a contest, "carved" out of the paragraph at the Crazy Horse journal link:

Bullwinkle’s Serenade

Clear talking:
I'm trying to say
a little-known moose,
blissfully honeymooning—
wee pants I encounter,
and fire,
bear-proofed:
all the things one does is not
a gay hideaway,
a Porta-John:
I am proud to say it is
quite
the opposite.

jsd: Preserving the order of the words in the carved-up paragraph gave me pause, but the accidents were too delicious to pass up.

Love the carved out chocolate in the picture above, but I am not so sure about the gay hideaway in the Portajohn. And you have carved away Rocky, Boris and Natasha. I am sure that they are sad. I just hope that bear-proofed is bomb-proof, too, in case Boris wants revenge.

Teresa: Sobering words, well worth consideration. A little too much attrition, eh? I'll be on the lookout, that's for sure.
