one word immortality: coffin

listen: right in
here

yes: right there

the night will

guide

presence will

allow

the rest will

tarry:

marry into your

dreams

bid them follow as

you, they;

time will match

the heart's brimming

fever, appleheaded

wonder will be

your place,

applehearted wisdom will

be

your grace.

Ah yes, the coffins of our lives do bring us into immortality, don't they, Murat?

We just have to dive into our dreams with all our heart and trust that the night and the presence and the universe will work them out with us.

It's all about the heart. I'm not sure what you mean by appleheaded and applehearted, but they certainly are happy words.

This one was written a little more self-consciously for you: intentionally brighter. Appleheaded was a delightful bit of new knowledge a student of mine let me in on yesterday - that there are apple-headed chihuahuas, and deer-headed ones. New knowledge ever seeks out the poets...

Beautiful sounds here. I love the heart's brimming fever, the turn from appleheaded to applehearted, the closing note of grace. Feels like the peace I find in the world after a storm.

Anno: Indeed, and hopefully the peace y'all have found at the lake. Happy Autumn.

Thanks for the pick-me-up. Don't worry about the other, though. I just realized that I had gone negative two days in a row in my readings. This was a delight.

So does apple--____ed, mean the head, heart, etc. in question is big, juicy, and sweet? That has some interesting connotations now, doesn't it?

Teresa: It's interesting to slow down the process and choose a bit more deliberately at times: also a bit harder. Big, juicy, and sweet for sure, but not too big: the bigger the apple, the mealier, in my experience. Probably true of hearts, too.

Tammie: Good to hear from you: I think smiles pour through your eyes quite often: it's quite clear from your photography.
