one word wiggy: sneeze
casual it ain't,
not
in this day & age,
the usual
fisheries
fishy in their
flimsy gowns,
ancient mardi gras
balls detonating
with thrilling splendor,
hummingbird grills
of afterhour
klezmering: we
didn't miss a thing,
cherubing down
the cherub highway.

Are you imbibing margaritas at a mardi gras party, Murat? Now that is really nothing to sneeze at, no matter how wigged out every one gets. but the mermaids and all the rest in the parade are truly angelic in all their fine splendor and flimsy gowns. Great end of fat days party!! Classes start next week.
Teresa: In the days of the daze, it was always beer and King Cake, brew the perfect complement to the yeasty, cinnamon-sugary dough. And I suppose when we were afloat the floats, we were all cherubs cherubing our merry ways down, well, not highways, but certainly all the lovely and thronged uptown streets.
Love the Kewpie cherub doll. A definitely positive addition to the post! Can't say I like beer (despite my German roots), but the King Cake sounds divine (and sugary).
Sounds like a lively party, Paschal, even if the idea of brew & King Cake gives me pause. Fact is, the idea of beer and anything gives me pause, so the limitation is all in my own mind.
And here's a question I've never asked: why murat11? Are there really ten others of you around, cherubs all, of course?
Teresa: Brown Baby was one of my all-time favorite throws when I was riding down St. Charles Avenue in the Krewe of Thoth; I saved one for myself - good heavens, he's 18 years old now! I'm not big on beer, either, but you have to be there: early morning party going on vibe, Neville Brothers on the box, and that collision of beer and Randazzo's King Cake. Sweet!!
Anno: Choice of libation is all yours. Scorpio-woman (there's your clue) has to ask why Murat11?
