Oooh Lawdy, I can picture myself with one o’them cloudy plastic cups full of cold beer and listenin’ to Mose playin’ outside. And by the time he’s done, I’ll have drank enough courage to ask him if maybe I can hop onto his bandwagon, ‘cause I want it all and now and his wagon’s already movin’ and well on its way there. He’ll say no, like all the others, so I might just sign on with the bible man tellin’ me he’ll take me There instead. But if he’s takin’ the long way, I’ll have to insist we stop and have a few beers, listen to some good live music, and keep on askin’ to hop on bandwagons, because one might just take me straightaway to Heaven right here on Earth. You know I aim to have it all my way, and I’m not discouraged yet, but I’m getting there.
DOM: What is it about Mose and outdoors? First time I saw him was in the grassy outdoor bowl in Seaside, FL. Tipitina's in NOLA the other time. I do b'lieve Mose could talk us into the southern quarters, but for the exhortations of Yemaya-mama Mavis, who would haul the whole lot of us There, as only she can do. I love Mose, but my money's on Mavis.
When I was working in jacksonmississippi for the mississippi department of archives and history, I ran across, during one of my tangential peregrinations throughout the place, an Ole Miss yearbook from, I think, about 1949; found the young mug of your man Mose. This was while also living just down the street and around the corner from Eudora Welty.

Now this kind of music keeps me awake while I'm studying and gets the brain juices flowing!! Love it, oh yeah! So for today the "M's" are victorious!
Amen, Sister T. Mavis rocks and Mose is hilarious.

Double your money with EW, no doubt.
We’ve been talkin’ ‘bout Jackson, ever since the fire went out… Jackson do rule, Professor.
