one word scheherazade: idol
don your cowls, babies,
spread your mishmash
for all to see:
sanguine turpentine
in the brew
missing the point
of red sea moses
evening out the turpitude
erasing the visionary's
calculus
finding the way home
while one and all
are fit
to be tied.

Moses as vision leveler. About 22 diopters. And bifocals at that.
I just love scheherazade, both the story and the music by Rimsky-Korsakav. So I've found some gorgeous idols of dance spreading their mishmash for all to see. But I don't think these two are missing the point or fit to be tied, although at times they do almost tie themselves in knots. (a little bit different from your usual jazzy fare, but I think you'll enjoy the two links. The first is long, and the second is the last minute or so of the performance.)

Man even turpentine wouldn't clear up the mishmash of turpitude, put on their cowls indeed. I am fit to be tied but glad to have found my way home.
You keep me amused with your stories as Sheherazade kept the fusspot king amused with her stories. So there will be no beheading...tonight anyway ; )
San: And me with the white cane (Cain?). Cain't see a damn thang.
Teresa: I'll check out the mishmashers later on this morning and report back. We're "working in rooms" this morning at the Instituto, so that means I don't have to behoove much at all.
Dee: Gradebooking in Dallas, in Purgatory even, is a fit thing to be home from, ain't it?
Duchess: You are most gracious, milady. The stakes is high for these onewordings, apparently.
Off into the desert with my beads and shawl
jsd: Go, girl: don't forget the Ben & Jerry's.
