Lee: Odd, at first, to have WA's art characterized as psychedelic: he was, after all, Mississippi Gulf Coast, not San Francisco Grateful Dead. However, psychedelic means "to make the soul visible," so on that count, you are right on the money.
LOL I grew up through the 60's. It was an interesting time everywhere. I happened upon a protest at the Texas State Capitol when I was on a field trip in high school. I was 16 or 17 at the time. That was the year my mom and I decorated my bedroom walls with pop art posters. So I can proudly say...
