one word miller: stud

muffin, ovenly
dude, burgermeister

red leather shoe'd.

ask him time

of day, merchants

rumble his head,

for treasure

inside your bed.

blue muffins

gain the upper hand,

live out the upper

room's opulent

dream, screaming

Madonna tricks,

the alpine side

of things, never

too wary for canned

meat, never too

cheesy for wuthering

Hey! I have no idea what that was all about, but I'm beginning to think you're our new Edward Lear, with a more surrealistic bent. btw: I think that's Hanuman, but I've never seen that aspect.

Richard: Lear is fine, Berryman will do as forefathers. Breton and his gang, Cy Twombly in words, you name it. Barthelme. They've all done their damage. CAT scans, MRIs, pee in that there cup, sir...that's what these poems are. You're in Alasis.

Oh, and Richard, thank you for the image correction. I was looking for a red Brahma, the Hanuman image came up in the googling, without the correct identification. The new one is, I believe, Lord B, but not the red that I had hoped for.

Sister Dee: Having just read of Brahma's obsessions, I could not resist "stud muffin." You can blame it on the berg, but I think blame belongs to the usual suspect.

are you ok mister Murat11?

Miz Lee: I am sorry to have given the wrong impression. All is well, save for my ailing computer: that and end of semester busy-ness account for my absence. As for the medical procedures, I was being completely metaphorical, if not also entirely foolish. Mea culpa.

Loved this one about stud muffins, Murat. Must be all that pirouetting you're doing in the new kitchen??? It's spun out a whole new line of imagery and fun.

I read this yesterday and loved it. Forced myself not to write. I'm here today with just a few minutes left before it's back to the salt mines of academia. Thanks for the vacation.

Out of those salt mines, girl! Must thank Osborne and Brahma for much of this poem's undercurrents. Seems Lord B, at least in one version, was quite the stud muffin...

I feel happy that busyness is what is taking your time and not health stuff! Yea. Seems many of us are blogging less in the past month. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

Paschal, sure enjoyed this yummy fusion-inspired muffin fantasy -- murat unmuffled? -- a little like stepping into the rabbit hole, but lots of fun; left me laughing at the end.

TLee: Thank you for the holiday blessings.

Anno: Glad you enjoyed the muffins. Murat unmuffined, more like, eh?
